Miss L avoided repossession!
Miss L was being threatened with repossession by a company she
had taken out a secured loan with. She had been out of work for
a short period and had fallen behind with her loan repayments. When
she came to us she had only days left until the court hearing and
was very concerned about losing her flat and having nowhere to live.
We were able to buy Miss L’s property for cash before the
day of the court hearing, avoiding the eviction. All her debt was
cleared, and she was finally able to buy the things she needed but
had been unable to afford. Miss L chose to use our rent offsetting
service allowing her time to find a new job and get back on her
feet before starting monthly rental payments.
This is what Miss L had to say:

Ms C improved the outlook for her retirement…

Ms C was getting near retirement age and the
bank was charging her a lot in fees and interest because of this.
Although she was working, she was having difficulty affording her
monthly payments as they were nearly twice what a regular mortgage
would be. We were able to give Ms C 3 Options for Selling and Renting
Back, and she was able to choose a rent she could afford and a purchase
price she was happy with. Her rent is now less than half what her
previous mortgage payments were and she has been able to stay in
her home, which is just around the corner from her daughter, indefinitely.
Ms C also received a significant sum of money from the sale which
she has set aside to enjoy when she retires.
